Studio sessions offer a refined, timeless setting with a variety of backdrops, textures, and props to choose from. Many clients enjoy studio settings for their controlled lighting, comfort, and distraction-free atmosphere. Studio sessions are also a wonderful option to ease the worry of unpredictable weather!
The studio fee allows me to secure and prepare a professional space designed to create polished photos of your family!

Fresh 48

A documentary-style session captured within the first 48 hours of your baby’s life. These are the quiet, fleeting moments. Tiny fingers, hospital bracelets, and first snuggles.
Fresh 48 sessions include up to an hour of shooting time, detail shots, baby swaddled & unswaddled, siblings holding baby, full family formals, & individual formals of parents with baby.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long of a session should we schedule?
Your choice of session length depends on a few factors. I work efficiently when it comes to posing, but I will never end a session before capturing all the important moments.
Families with older kids: A 15-minute mini ($100) or 30-minute session is often plenty of time.
Families with little ones: I recommend an hour to allow for play, breaks, and capturing those natural, candid moments.
No matter the length, my priority is ensuring you walk away with memories you’ll treasure.
What should we wear for our session?
Choosing outfits can feel overwhelming, but I’ve got you covered! Every client receives a comprehensive outfit guide that includes color palettes, styling tips, and suggestions for coordinating your family without matching exactly. It’s designed to make the process easy, stress-free, and ensure your portraits look classic and polished.
What if my child won't cooperate?
Trust me, don’t sweat it! Photos can feel intimidating even for adults, so I completely understand how kids might feel. My best advice to parents during sessions is: let them. Let them run, play, and giggle – we can make it a fun game! I always make sure to capture a nice formal of them, but often the candid, playful moments become your favorite images.
How many photos are included?
There’s no limit on the number of images you’ll receive. You’ll get every photo I consider deliverable, meaning each image is carefully edited and curated to ensure you have only the best, most natural portraits from your session.
